Collaboration with the EIC venture capital arm

Following a decade of collaboration with the Horizon-EIC on grant financing, the CEO of MYO Health has been invited to collaborate with the EIC’s venture capital arm for the allocation of equity financing of up to €15 million per beneficiary. The collaboration will focus on the evaluation and technical due diligence of some of the most promising European med-tech startups. The European Innovation Council is a €4 billion VC fund with 39% of its current portfolio being deep-tech healthcare/MedTech companies with the potential to revolutionize healthcare globally. EIC has attracted 985 co-investors worldwide for a total of €9.6 billion follow-up investments since 2014; applicants are deep tech innovators that disrupt the markets they are entering, with mainly startups, SMEs and mid-caps.
